Information We Collect

We may collect information that you provide directly to OurPod, including account information and content you choose to create, store, import, or share through the service.

We may also collect limited technical and diagnostic information necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and improve OurPod.

If you choose to connect a third-party service, OurPod may process information needed to establish and maintain that connection, such as account identifiers, authorization information, or provider-specific connection credentials, and may receive information that you authorize the third-party service to provide.

How We Use Information

We use information collected through OurPod to:

• Provide and operate the service;
• Store, organize, display, and synchronize information you choose to use with OurPod;
• Authenticate users and protect accounts and household data;
• Maintain the reliability and security of the service;
• Troubleshoot problems; and
• Improve OurPod and its features.

We do not sell personal information.

Household Sharing

OurPod is designed as a shared household service. Information you add to a Pod may be visible to other authorized members or devices associated with that Pod, depending on their permissions and the features being used.

You are responsible for choosing what information you add to a shared Pod and for managing who is authorized to access it.

Connected Services

OurPod may allow you to connect third-party services, including external calendar providers.

If you choose to connect a service, OurPod may access, receive, store, and process information that you authorize the third-party service to provide. We use this information only as necessary to provide and maintain the OurPod features you choose to use.

You may disconnect a connected service at any time. Disconnecting a service prevents OurPod from receiving new information through that connection, but may not automatically delete information that was previously imported or stored in OurPod.

Google User Data

If you connect a Google account, OurPod may access Google account and Google Calendar information that you authorize OurPod to access.

Google Calendar information that you choose to synchronize with a Pod may be visible to authorized members of that Pod, depending on your calendar selections and their OurPod permissions.

If an authorized Pod member designates an owned Google calendar for household writing, that member may use OurPod features that create, modify, or delete events on that calendar.

Google user data is used only to provide or improve user-facing OurPod functionality that you request. It is not sold, used for advertising, or transferred for advertising purposes.

OurPod does not use information obtained from Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

OurPod's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How We Share Information

We may share information:

• With authorized members or devices associated with your Pod as necessary to provide shared OurPod functionality;
• With service providers that host, operate, secure, or otherwise support OurPod;
• When you direct or authorize us to share information with a third-party service; or
• When required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the rights, security, or integrity of OurPod, its users, or others.

Service providers may process information only as necessary to provide services on our behalf.

We do not sell personal information to advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties.

Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

Information may be stored or processed by OurPod and by service providers that support the operation of the service.

No online service or method of electronic storage can guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and maintain OurPod, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the security and integrity of the service.

You may request deletion of your account or associated personal information by contacting us.

Some information may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or operational purposes.

Disconnecting a third-party service does not necessarily delete information that was previously imported into or stored by OurPod.

Children's Information

OurPod may contain information about children when that information is added by an authorized household member, such as through a household profile or shared household content.

Individual OurPod sign-in accounts are intended for users who are at least 13 years old. Household profiles may represent people who do not have individual accounts.

If you believe a child under 13 has created an individual account or provided personal information directly to OurPod without appropriate authorization, please contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, remove that information.

Third-Party Services

Third-party services connected to or used with OurPod operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

OurPod is not responsible for the privacy, security, availability, or other practices of third-party services outside of the information processed by OurPod itself.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as OurPod develops or as legal, technical, or operational requirements change.

When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle personal information, we may provide additional notice when appropriate.
